The kikoi is a traditional piece of woven fabric from the East African Coast. It’s extremely popular in Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar and represents the blend of liveliness and the diversity of Swahili culture. Arab merchants originally used it as a sarong.
The kikoi is rectangular, made from pure cotton, and woven in colourful designs.
