Beaded Wood Tikar Bangle

These Beautifully beaded Cameroon Tikar Bracelets are sure to add some African style to your home or office. The bracelets are hand carved out of a single piece of wood and then adorned with beads and cowrie shells.

The Tikar bangles at one time served as a form of currency, sometimes used to pay a dowry.  In West Africa, beads have historically been used to show status and were believed to have protective properties.

Each bracelet comes with a display stand.
